Job Overview

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee the daily operations of the clinic, ensuring seamless coordination of patient care services.

Supervise a diverse team including RNs, LPNs, lab coordinators, radiology technicians, and medical assistants.

Manage information services and technology, addressing operational challenges related to IT contractors, help desk support, network and telecommunications, and regulatory compliance.

Maintain up-to-date knowledge of system hardware, networks, and software, identifying opportunities for enhancements and necessary migrations.

Drive initiatives to enhance satisfaction among patients, providers, and staff.

Evaluate clinical practices to uncover opportunities for improving quality, safety, effectiveness, and efficiency.

Establish clinical indicators to assess, evaluate, and enhance care delivery.

Foster strong collaborative relationships with leadership, management, and departmental liaisons.

Ensure patient-centered care aligns with established standards.

Prepare reports and complete necessary regulatory documentation.

Guarantee compliance with relevant ambulatory service standards and clinic accreditations.

Lead the development and revision of policies and procedures tailored to care programs.

Ensure adherence to all clinical policies, procedures, and regulations.

Supervise nursing staff and other healthcare providers delivering nursing care.

Manage recruitment, retention, performance evaluations, and professional development of clinical staff.

Coordinate and oversee nursing care delivery in designated patient care areas.

Evaluate staffing and scheduling within the department.

Recruit staff aligned with service excellence and quality patient care.

Develop staffing models based on specialty and patient care requirements.

Monitor staff competencies and provide ongoing feedback on performance.

Encourage annual performance discussions to facilitate mutual goal setting and performance feedback.

Identify and create clinical learning opportunities for students across various healthcare disciplines.

Assess clinic room utilization and propose recommendations for improvement.

Analyze budget performance and address any discrepancies.

Establish a system for timely and accurate charge entry and reconciliation.

Stay informed about new technologies in supplies and equipment, evaluating for quality and cost improvements.

Minimum Qualifications:

Associate or Bachelor's degree in Nursing.

5+ years of management experience.

2 years of experience in Nursing Informatics, Computer Science, or a related field.

2+ years of experience in IT management and support of healthcare information systems.

Strong knowledge of computer systems, security, network and systems administration, databases, and data storage systems.

Proven experience in leading and managing large IT projects.

Familiarity with IT services performance metrics and benchmarking.

Knowledge of IT infrastructure and operations best practices.
