HR Benefits Analyst II

This role supports Total Rewards and Human Resources management, including supporting the development of Total Rewards strategies and policies to meet the business needs with respect to the company's benefit programs. This position provides an overall understanding of Paycom's benefits and Human Resources programs and processes, answers employee questions and supports the administrative activities for the benefits department.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ensures the accuracy of benefits enrollments in the HRIS to provide vendors with accurate eligibility information
  • Ensures the accuracy of benefits enrollments in the internal HRIS system to provide vendors with accurate eligibility information
  • Conducts data entry into company systems, including open enrollment data, FMLA and leave of absence requests, ADA, etc.
  • Performs quality checks of benefits-related data, including review of payroll deduction amounts
  • Assists employees regarding benefits claim issues and plan changes
  • Responds to benefits inquiries from managers and employees on plan provisions, benefits enrollments, status changes and other general inquiries or information requests.
  • Demonstrates understanding and application of FMLA, ADA, USERRA and HIPAA laws when responding to inquiries or providing information across the organization.
  • Processes and supports administration of leave of absence requests and disability paperwork; medical, personal, disability and FMLA
  • Responds to 401(k) inquiries from managers and employees relating to enrollments, plan changes and contribution amounts
  • Serves as primary contact for internal COBRA processing and validation of notices and payments.
  • Administers COBRA events, benefit enrollments and changes throughout the plan year.
  • Performs routine data analysis for use in generating and providing reports to help guide decision making
  • Other duties, responsibilities and special projects as assigned

Qualifications

Education/Certification:

  • Bachelor's Degree

Experience:

  • 2+ years in Human Resources, Benefits or Leave Administration

Skills/Abilities:

  • Understanding of FMLA, ADA and HIPAA laws
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Experience creating PowerPoint, using audio/video to create leadership and employee training content
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively interact with all levels of employees
  • Demonstrates knowledge of HR and Benefits Administration policies and practice
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently, exceptional organizational and time management skills
  • Willingness and ability to prioritize work and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Willingness and ability to work effectively in a team and collaborate across departments
  • Proficiency in MS Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.) and Outlook
