The Business Risk Integrated Control (BRIC) team is missioned to:
- Protect TikTok users, including and beyond content consumers, creators, advertisers;
- Secure platform health and community experience authenticity;
- Build infrastructures, platforms and technologies, as well as to collaborate with many crossfunctional teams and stakeholders.
TikTok, CapCut, Resso, Lark), covering multiple classical and novel community and business risk areas such as account integrity, engagement authenticity, anti spam, API abuse, growth fraud, live streaming security and financial safety (ads or e-commerce), etc.
In this team you'll have a unique opportunity to have first-hand exposure to the strategy of the company in key security initiatives, especially in building scalable and robust, intelligent and privacy-safe, secure and product-friendly systems and solutions.
Our challenges are not some regular day-to-day technical puzzles You'll be part of a team that's developing novel solutions to first-seen challenges of a non-stop evolvement of a phenomenal product eco-system.
The work needs to be fast, transferrable, while still down to the ground to make quick and solid differences.Responsibilities:
- Provide risk assessment and risk solution plans for different products and businesses, promote the implementation of relevant plans, and ensure the safe development of TikTok, live broadcast, growth and advertising businesses;
- Develop forwardlooking risk control strategies through analyzing user behavior, content, user feedback and other data, drive the improvement and upgrade of product safety mechanisms, and be responsible for the effect of risk solution plans;
- Collaborate with risk control MLE/DS, build and improve risk perception, identification, intervention and governance effect measurement system, and design common risk control products and services that can support different businesses;
- Conduct indepth investigation into the evolving trend of user account risks, and be sensitive to ongoing account security vulnerabilities and exposures; be able to discern new risk points from industry and business trends; deploy risk control mechanisms in advance to prevent the occurrence of risks, and ensure that the risk control ability was at the leading level in the industry.
Minimum Qualification:
- Bachelor degree or above, major in computer/information security/statistics/mathematics or related is preferred, with technical background is preferred;
- Strong sense of responsibility and team work spirit, excellent learning ability, and goaloriented;
- Strong curiosity and selfmotivated, willing to accept challenges and aim for the best.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 3 years of working experience in Internet products, preferably in strategy, risk control or related fields;

Job Information
[For Pay Transparency] Compensation Description (annually)
The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $ $296020 annually.
Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location.
Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.

We offer the following benefits to eligible employees:
We cover 100% premium coverage for employee medical insurance, approximately 75% premium coverage for dependents and offer a Health Savings Account(HSA) with a company match.
Our time off and leave plans are: 10 paid holidays per year plus 17 days of Paid Personal Time Off (PPTO) (prorated upon hire and increased by tenure) and 10 paid sick days per year as well as 12 weeks of paid Parental leave and 8 weeks of paid Supplemental Disability.
