Job Description
Address and mitigate all employee concerns.Be present in the Catering Conference Center to ensure operation is running smoothly and to immediately trouble shoot any issues that arises.Effectively and thoroughly interview and on-board new team members.Provide guidance and guidelines to the coordinator for any special events, Town Halls, Happy Hours, etc.Assist where needed when business requires with meeting set ups and guest management.Maintain clear communication with meeting hosts so that the coordinator can focus on servicing the meetings.Guide reception in responses to emails that are received by curating responses based on knowledge learned.Ability to execute standard and executive meeting set-ups to inspect team members' work and provide valuable feedback.Interact with high-profile executives and external guests confidently.Ensure employees are motivated and productiveReceive and respond to customer complaints, comments, and enquiries with professionalism and accuracy.Addressing any inconsistencies with the space or service and escalating when needed.Adjust SOP's to better execute the operation.Complete special projects that are assigned by the provided deadlineMPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law. The Successful Applicant
A bachelor's degree, business or hospitality a plus.Minimum four (4) years relevant work experienceExcellent communication and interpersonal skills in both verbally and in writingPolished, professional appearance required.Extremely good time management and prioritization skills.Willingness to take on additional responsibilities with a can-do attitude.Ability to bend, stoop and/or stand for extended periods of time.Previous catering, hospitality, or service industry experience.Creative problem solver able to think quickly, while remaining calm.Extensive knowledge of MS Outlook and Excel required.
