About the Role:

Our company has a hybrid work model where the expectation is that you will be in the office two to three days per week on average.

The focus of this role is:

  • gathering, documenting, and analyzing the requirements and solutions for large global user interface, workflow, and data processing systems.
  • collaborate with wide group of internal stakeholders
  • drive end-to-end business solutions development for design to delivery, solution's integration, support operational incidents and probelm resulution/performance enhancment.

Core Responsibilities

  • Present and communicate ideas and design to various teams for review and brainstorming.
  • Build and maintain a trusted relationship with our internal business partners.
  • Creation of SQL queries, logical data models, and UI mockups
  • Analyze business issues & build business case for large initiatives.
  • Capture, Rationalize, and challenge requirements and processes together with the business to drive focus on high value improvements.

About the Team:

Our high-performing, global, diverse IT team focused on supporting the Life & Health Reinsurance business using state of the art application and analytics platforms that enable processing, effective monitoring, and steering of business.

About You:

Must have:

  • 5+ years of business analysis experience is required.
  • Ability to articulate complex technical issues to non-technical audience.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
  • Experience with data modelling tools and relational databases such as Oracle, SQL server.
  • College degree

Nice to have:

  • Experience in the insurance/Reinsurance industry is an advantage.
  • General programming experience is an advantage.
  • Experience with Cloud computing and SaaS solutions is an advantage.
  • Experience working with teammates and customers in remote locations preferred.

For Armonk, NY, the estimated base salary range for this position is $88,000 to $144,000. The specific salary offered for this, or any given role will take into account a number of factors including but not limited to job location, scope of role, qualifications, complexity/specialization/scarcity of talent, experience, education, and employer budget. At Swiss Re, we take a "total compensation approach" when making compensation decisions. This means that we consider all components of compensation in their totality (such as base pay, short-and long-term incentives, and benefits offered), in setting individual compensation.
