As a Federal Tax Analyst, you will have the chance to enhance your knowledge and skills with a market leader while engaging with various sectors of IBM across the globe.

In your role as a Federal Tax Analyst, your duties will encompass:
  • Preparation and evaluation of US Federal, State, and Local Income Tax returns, extensions, and estimated tax calculations for designated subsidiaries.

  • Preparation and assessment of assigned Schedule M and state tax adjustments for US Federal and State Income Tax purposes, including calculating return to provision adjustments and reconciling deferred tax assets and liabilities.
  • Conducting analysis and determining the application of pertinent Income Tax regulations while ensuring audit-ready documentation is maintained.
  • Offering assistance with legal and information document requests, along with other ad-hoc projects as required.
  • Ensuring adherence to all relevant internal controls.
Work Environment
Embracing a flexible and collaborative work culture, we encourage candidates to experience a hybrid work model, engaging in-office three times a week. This arrangement not only fosters a balance between remote and in-person work but also allows for deeper integration into our culture, connection with colleagues, and participation in a vibrant and motivating work atmosphere.

  • At least 3 years of corporate and direct tax experience.
  • Proficiency in office software applications (e.g., Microsoft Office).

Preferred Qualifications
