About the Role

As a Subscriptions Growth Product Manager at Dow Jones you will build experiences that delight our users, boost core metrics, and meet the overall ambitions of the Dow Jones organization. Working closely with the executive team at Dow Jones, and reporting to the VP of Subscription Products, you will be responsible for planning, defining and executing against the roadmap. You will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ideate and deliver engaging experiences across web and mobile. You are a creative self-starter, multi-skilled in content strategy, advertising and technology. You pride yourself on delivering features on-time and without compromising quality. You are able to efficiently manage multiple initiatives concurrently, while effectively communicating to stakeholders throughout the product development process.

You Will :

  • Work cross-functionally across all areas to define and prioritize business and editorial requirements for new products and enhancements.
  • Support digital subscription growth through the design, experimentation and launch of customer acquisition journey feature enhancements to shop page, checkout, onboarding, and Sub Hub.
  • Make product enhancement and optimization recommendations to increase revenue both from advertising and subscriptions.
  • Perform business analysis to demonstrate ROI and P&L impact of product enhancements.
  • Work with research teams to gather and analyze audience research and feedback regarding new products and enhancements.
  • Work closely with software developers throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Define and measure KPIs for success.
  • Other duties as assigned.

You Have :

  • 5+ years of product management experience, ideally with consumer acquisition journey applications (shop page, onboarding, checkout, subscription management)
  • Passionate and knowledgeable about digital media, news and investing.
  • Experience analyzing qualitative and quantitative consumer research.
  • Experience conducting experimentation, familiarity with Optimizely a plus.
  • Experience defining and implementing product requirements for websites and mobile apps.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to communicate effectively across the full spectrum of internal stakeholders and customers.
  • Proven ability partnering with a technology organization.
  • Highly strategic as well as detail-oriented.
