Position Summary

This role reports to the Senior Director of Upgrade & Churn.

Primary Focus
As the Lead Product Manager overseeing Upgrade and Crossgrade product initiatives within our Commerce team, you will be responsible for conceptualizing, defining, designing, developing, testing, and launching impactful plan merchandising and selection experiences that are relevant and engaging for potential subscribers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and manage high-value, consumer-focused digital features and products across web, mobile devices, connected devices, and smart TVs.
  • Utilize qualitative and quantitative data to establish requirements.
  • Communicate vision, strategy, deliverables, insights, and KPIs to stakeholders at all organizational levels.
  • Collaborate with fellow product owners, designers, and engineers to successfully launch products. Embrace a cycle of building, testing, learning, and iterating.
  • Balance contributions from business, design, research, technology, and external teams. Cultivate a network of cross-functional partners and build trust.
  • Define and promote best practices. Collaborate on the planning and development of scalable and adaptable tools and resources.
  • Create a roadmap of impactful digital products, features, and enhancements that prioritize customer value, business growth, and strategic opportunities.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience as a product owner with a strong track record of managing the complete lifecycle of consumer-facing digital products.
  • High standards and extensive operational knowledge in all facets of digital product development, employing tools, technologies, and established best practices.
  • Ability to analyze data and listen to consumer feedback.
  • Identify and advance the most impactful concepts through rigorous evaluation, execution, implementation, experimentation, and assessment.
  • Strong communication skills, capable of articulating viewpoints, engaging in constructive discussions, collaborating, and bridging gaps across teams and stakeholders.
  • Resourceful and self-reliant, capable of generating innovative ideas while delivering practical results.
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced, iterative, and collaborative environment.
  • Adaptable and able to pivot between multiple projects, providing clarity in ambiguous situations.
  • Consumer-first mindset in product design and development.
Essential Knowledge and Experience
  • Minimum of 5 years managing the product lifecycle, focusing on customer plan merchandising, monetization strategies, and optimization toolkits in an e-commerce context.
  • Prepared to present case studies of digital products.
  • Experience in product areas related to sign-up processes, plan selection, and upgrade/change plan journeys.
  • Experience in developing web products and launching applications for iOS or Android.
  • Expertise in rapid deployment and experimentation, including metrics, analytics, A/B testing, user testing, and market research.
  • Experience in an agile software development environment.
  • Familiarity with project management tools such as Jira, testing tools like Optimizely, and analytics tools such as Adobe.
Desirable Knowledge & Experience
  • Experience with entertainment platforms such as tvOS, Fire TV, Roku, etc., is a plus.

Salary Range: $150,000 - $175,000
