Pursuant to 50 USC 3024 (v), and with concurrence and consultation with the Director of National Intelligence and the Director of the Office of Personnel Management, this position is being established in the excepted service as an element of the Intelligence Community within the Department of the Treasury.
As a Lead Intelligence Operations Specialist (Counterintelligence), you will:- Provide direct assistance to the Deputy Director and Director, OCI, on CI issues, including those issues that pose a threat and or vulnerability to the Department that may be exploited by foreign intelligence and security services, state actors, cyber criminals, and hackers.
- Ensure consistent and competent execution of CI throughout the Department, including all bureaus and components.
- Identify problems that directly affect the accomplishment of CI program goals and objectives and recommend alternatives and corrective actions.
- Document findings by preparing detailed written reports and, when necessary, refer appropriate information to applicable Treasury organizations offices.
