SUMMARY:

The Consumer Engagement Analyst will be a vital member of the Analytics team, focusing on enhancing product growth within our bank through descriptive analytics, data reporting, and some advanced analytics. This role involves collaborating closely with internal stakeholders to address their challenges with analytics-driven solutions, analyzing customer interactions, and developing personalized experiences to improve digital banking adoption, engagement, retention, and conversion. A significant part of the role will involve working with customer metrics, understanding customer behavior, and generating detailed reports.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Conduct descriptive analyses of structured and unstructured customer data to address business challenges, utilizing statistical methods and customer behavior insights.
  • Develop and generate data reports, perform basic statistical analyses, and define performance metrics in collaboration with business partners.
  • Deliver presentations to communicate analyses and influence product strategy, with a focus on customer metrics and engagement.
  • Utilize programming skills (Python and SQL) to explore, manipulate, and interpret large datasets with customer information.
  • Prepare data for analysis, ensuring data completeness and quality in collaboration with the data engineering team, and perform feature engineering on customer data.
  • Work closely with business partners to understand their objectives and translate them into analytics-driven solutions focused on customer engagement.
  • Communicate complex model outcomes effectively to diverse audiences, including technical, non-technical, and senior leadership, with an emphasis on customer insights.
  • Collaborate with project team members and senior management to ensure alignment and support for customer-focused analytics initiatives.
  • Foster a proactive problem-solving environment, anticipating and mitigating challenges through collaboration and strategic thinking about customer data.
  • Apply descriptive analytics tools and methods to analyze large datasets from multiple sources, with a focus on customer information.
  • Design and execute basic online experiments, such as AB testing, to measure and optimize customer engagement and product performance.
  • Utilize machine learning techniques to develop personalized experiences targeting specific customer segments, as needed.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in statistical analyses, experiment design, and predictive modeling, particularly in customer analytics.
  • Specialize in descriptive analytics and reporting to drive solutions for customer engagement.

POSITION SPECIFICATIONS:

  • 3+ years of experience using Python and SQL for data analysis, specifically with customer information.
  • 3+ years of experience deriving actionable insights from analysis and communicating outcomes to diverse audiences, including technical, non-technical, and senior leadership, with a focus on customer metrics.
  • 2+ years of experience preparing data for analysis and collaborating with data engineering teams on customer data.
  • 2+ years of experience applying descriptive analytics tools to analyze large datasets from multiple sources, particularly customer data.
  • 2+ years of experience in experimental design and measurement, with a focus on customer engagement.
  • Strong ability to communicate technical concepts to business stakeholders, especially regarding customer insights.
  • Proactive problem-solving skills with the ability to anticipate and mitigate challenges related to customer data.
  • Proficiency in statistical analyses, experiment design, and predictive modeling, with specialized expertise in customer analytics and reporting.

Preferred Requirements:

  • Master's degree or equivalent experience in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Business Analytics, Economics, Physics, Engineering, Quantitative Social Sciences, or a related field.
  • PhD in a related discipline is desirable.
  • Experience in designing online experiments, particularly AB testing, is preferred.
  • Extensive experience working with customer information and customer metrics is essential.
