Position Overview

The Consumer Account Recovery Specialist is responsible for managing a portfolio of charged-off and overdue consumer accounts assigned by our partners. In this role, you will focus on driving revenue and achieving monthly collection targets by engaging with consumers, reviewing their account situations, and negotiating favorable arrangements on behalf of our partners. You will undergo a comprehensive and effective paid training program designed to equip you for success at Real Time Resolutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee designated queues and conduct follow-ups with customers, stakeholders, and legal representatives.
  • Assess ongoing repayment plans with clients, understand their circumstances, and provide appropriate guidance.
  • Evaluate credit histories, loan records, personal information, and assets to offer insights to management.
  • Adhere to all federal, state, and local regulations related to collections and bankruptcy procedures.
  • Document the outcomes of discussions in Real Time Resolutions' collections management system.
Required Qualifications
  • High School Diploma with relevant experience or a College Degree.
  • Proven track record as a high achiever in the collections sector; experience in auto loans, credit cards, or student loans is preferred.
  • Basic computer proficiency is essential.
  • Strong negotiation skills with an ability to influence and persuade effectively.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills with a professional demeanor.
