Location: Fort Mill, SC & Richmond, B.C.
Reporting: Inside Sales Team Lead
About the Role:
The Sales Account Manager for Inside Sales plays a crucial role in maintaining and enhancing an existing customer base. This position involves managing orders, pricing, credit, resolving service issues, and ensuring quality standards. The primary responsibilities include generating revenue through processing quotations and orders, influencing delivery requirements and performance, and optimizing equipment efficiencies and freight costs. Team collaboration and communication are key aspects of this role, which is well-supported by a hybrid work environment, offering the benefits of in-person collaboration and remote work flexibility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and nurture the existing customer account base, handling order management, pricing, credit, service issues, and quality concerns.
- Develop accounts by reviewing order history, product knowledge, SLA's, inventory levels, sales performance, cost-to-serve metrics, and inbound lead qualification.
- Stay informed about the competitive landscape, including market trends related to pricing, products, delivery schedules, and service platforms.
- Strong understanding of customer requirements.
- Ability to take independent initiative.
- Effective time management skills.
- Proficiency in team collaboration.
- Knowledge of systems and tools.
- Bachelor's Degree or a minimum of 3+ years of experience in inside or outside sales.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office tools such as Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Capability to utilize technology effectively where necessary.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven problem-solving abilities.
- Experience with CRM systems.
- Prior sales experience.
- Previous exposure to export processes.
- Bilingual proficiency (English, French, and Spanish) would be advantageous.
