Opportunity Overview
As we grow, we are looking for a motivated Sales Account Manager to collaborate closely with our VP of Sales to drive business growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Establish and nurture robust relationships within the U.S. financial services sector, gaining a deep understanding of potential clients' challenges and providing tailored solutions.
- Identify suitable prospects, schedule meetings, conduct effective qualifying sales calls, and manage the sales process to secure new business.
- Achieve and surpass sales targets following the initial onboarding phase.
- Employ a creative approach to task completion.
- Support the VP of Sales with marketing initiatives and various sales operations tasks, including contract management, vendor due diligence, scheduling, and market analysis.
- Maintain comprehensive knowledge of our offerings and adeptly handle objections.
- Participate in industry conferences and events to generate new opportunities.
- Foster and maintain strong interdepartmental relationships to ensure seamless communication and collaboration throughout the sales process.
- Exhibit a high level of focus, adaptability, and ambition on a daily basis.
Qualifications and Skills Required
- A bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in marketing, business, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in sales and relationship management, ideally within the financial services sector. Experience in financial services compliance is a significant advantage.
- Familiarity with software solutions, particularly cloud-based SaaS platforms.
- Experience utilizing Salesforce.
- Demonstrated sales proficiency, business insight, and commercial awareness, evidenced by measurable sales achievements from lead generation to deal closure.
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, problem-solving, and customer service abilities.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and effective time management.
- An entrepreneurial mindset with a strong desire for success.
- Willingness to travel occasionally as needed.
