Job Title: Full Stack Software EngineerLocation: RemoteJob ID: SO# Roles/Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain high-quality software solutions using Java J2EE Spring Framework Quarkus and Hibernate.
  • Implement and consume SOAP-based web services to ensure seamless integration with external systems
  • Utilize Azure and Azure AKS to deploy manage and scale applications in the cloud environment.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance in the design and implementation of software solutions.
  • Conduct code reviews to ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
  • Participate in the full software development lifecycle from requirements gathering to deployment and maintenance.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation to support ongoing development and maintenance efforts.
  • Ensure software solutions are secure scalable and maintainable.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends to continuously improve software solutions
  • Contribute to the improvement of development processes and methodologies.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure software solutions meet business needs and deliver value
  • The successful candidate will contribute to the development and maintenance of high-quality software solutions that align with our companys goals and objectives.
Qualifications:
  • Typically, 4-6 years of professional experience in software development is expected, with significant experience in the Java J2EE Spring Framework Quarkus
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Demonstrate strong proficiency in Java J2EE Spring Framework Quarkus and Hibernate.
  • Have experience with SOAP-based web services and cloud platforms such as Azure and Azure AKS.
  • Show expertise in the Payer domain with a deep understanding of industry-specific requirements and challenges.
  • Exhibit strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
  • Display excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to continuous learning and professional development
Salary and Other Compensation:Applications will be accepted till Aug 16th, 2024

The annual salary for this role is between $47K-$84K depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
