Job Description:

Responsible to provide support for a variety of tasks that contribute to the overall success of the Supply Chain Inventory Services team. These tasks include interacting on a daily basis internal Inventory Management & Supply Chain partners as well as external Vendor and Broker contacts.

This role offers a hybrid work arrangement at our corporate headquarters in Byron Center, MI.

Here's what you'll do:

  • Process vendor repayment requests by using decision trees to execute respective paths of action and communication with vendors, brokers, warehouses, and carriers.
  • Maintain group email boxes in Microsoft Outlook by providing support to customers(stores), vendors, brokers, distribution centers, cross-functional teams, etc.
  • Research repay requests for Vendor Repay Requests, ASN, Fill Rates, Dock Deductions, etc. or propose process changes to prevent future repays.
  • Work with vendors and brokers to ensure the timeliness of disposition request, returns and others OS&D related issues.
  • Review documentation for accuracy and maintain tracking for compliance and DC performance to policies and procedures.
  • Work with internal teams identifying opportunities for process improvement on OS&D, Receiving, and Disposition.
  • Review documentation for accuracy using various query and database systems
  • Execute test plans for new processes, system upgrades, etc.
  • Provide training and/or assistance to Specialists I, Inventory Services
  • Work on other tasks as assigned

Here's what you'll need:

  • Associates degree (Bachelors preferred) in Business, Supply Chain, or combination or relevant experience and or education.
  • Two (2) years experience, preferably in Retail, Merchandising, Inventory Control, Warehouse Operations, Billing/Invoicing (preferred)
  • Must have good organizational, prioritization, problem solving skills and attention to detail
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)

The noise level in the work environment is usually low to moderate but may be high in distribution settings. Travel requirements vary by assignment.
