Responsibilities

  • Journal entries from daily sales
  • Manage accounts payable/receivable
  • Coordinate PR with our payroll provider
  • Reconcile monthly credit card statements
  • Assist with monthly P&L
  • Assist sales staff with POS when necessary
  • Create reports on various business metrics when needed
  • Submit Instant-Savings claims to vendors
  • Manage office phone calls, mail and correspondence
  • Coordinate Physical Inventory cycle counts
  • Track and maintain stock levels of office supplies

Skills Required

  • Proven bookkeeping experience and a knack for numbers
  • Solid understanding of accounting principles and practices
  • Proficiency with QB Online, MS Office, MS Excel
  • Data entry skills with high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Ability to quickly learn software applications, i.e. POS/Counterpoint
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent organizational and computer skills
  • Must adapt to new processes and procedures that eliminate waste and improve efficiency
  • Ability to work independently without micro-management
  • High school diploma/associate degree or equivalent work experience required
