Senior Manager, Quality Engineering

As the Senior Manager, Quality Engineering at IntelyCare you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality products/services to a variety of end-users. Your responsibilities will encompass leading a dedicated team of quality and automation engineers, setting and executing a strategic vision, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

You will oversee the development and maintenance of a robust quality management system, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to integrate quality best practices throughout the product development lifecycle. In this role, your leadership and analytical skills will be crucial in identifying and addressing potential risks, implementing process improvements, and ensuring compliance with industry regulations. As a key driver of quality initiatives, you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on our organization's success, contributing to the delivery of top-notch products/services and reinforcing our commitment to excellence.

Quality Leadership

  • Lead a team of technical quality engineers, providing strategic direction and fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation.
  • Responsible for aligning quality goals with overall business objectives, ensuring the development and implementation of effective quality assurance strategies, policies, and procedures.
  • Ensure the establishment and maintenance of a robust quality management system, monitoring, evaluating, and improving processes throughout the product development lifecycle.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to integrate quality best practices into every stage of product development.
  • Collaborate closely with regulatory affairs teams to ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards.
  • Create and implement risk assessment and mitigation strategies to minimize the impact of potential quality issues.
  • Assist in the identification of areas for process improvement, leading initiatives to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in quality engineering practices.
  • Support the professional development of team members through coaching, mentoring, and performance reviews.
  • Act as a liaison between the Quality Engineering team and other departments to ensure proactive identification and resolution of potential quality risks.
  • Participate in the development and monitoring of key performance indicators (KPIs) to track and measure the success of quality initiatives.
  • Develop and present reports on quality metrics and performance to stakeholders and leadership.
  • Facilitate the implementation of continuous improvement initiatives to enhance overall quality and efficiency.
  • Perform other duties as required to uphold and advance the quality standards of the organization.

Technical Leadership

  • Manage and lead a team of seasoned software engineers in test; provide the necessary technical guidance and mentorship
  • Drive best practices in software development, testing, and production deployment
  • Drive technical decisions and work with the scrum teams, in tracking and delivering software projects
  • Participate in review of architecture, design, and implementations, provide feedback for individual contributors
  • Initiate and lead initiatives that improve and elevate our test frameworks, reporting, and test automation approach

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field or equivalent professional experience
  • 8 years of experience in quality engineering, with a focus on automation
  • Professional experience with Java, Selenium, SQL in an AWS environment
  • Hands on experience with front & backend test automation
  • Proven leadership experience with a track record of successfully managing and developing high-performing teams. Previous managerial experience required
  • In-depth knowledge of quality management systems, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to drive continuous improvement initiatives
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate quality strategies to stakeholders
