Role Overview: We are seeking a Systems Engineering, Integration and Test Manager to contribute to our innovative environment focused on advancing subsea robotics.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a multidisciplinary team of engineers throughout the design, integration, and testing phases of Autonomous Underwater Vehicle (AUV) projects.
- Oversee performance management, including prioritization, team performance tracking, and development plans.
- Collaborate with software, mechanical, electrical, and field test engineering teams to ensure a unified approach to system design and evaluation.
- Provide strategic leadership in defining technology, tools, documentation, and processes within the systems engineering domain.
- Drive technical initiatives to identify needs, explore solutions, and develop evaluation methodologies.
- Mentor team members and provide technical guidance to achieve successful outcomes.
- Foster a collaborative and energetic team culture that emphasizes learning and innovation.
- Deliver integrated solutions that adapt to evolving customer requirements.
Qualifications:
- 10+ years of experience in hardware or integrated product development and testing, including team management.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven ability to engage with diverse stakeholders across various technical domains.
- Strong background in the Systems Engineering lifecycle from requirements gathering to deployment and maintenance.
- Familiarity with quality management systems and environmental testing standards.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented.
- Willingness to travel for customer engagements as needed.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. top secret security clearance.
