Position Overview- As a Senior Java Software Engineer at Gainwell, you will apply your expertise to help our clients enhance the health and wellness of the communities they serve, particularly the most vulnerable members. - Lead workstreams to architect, develop, test, and implement intricate software applications that encompass server, client, and web components.
- Facilitate closer collaboration between application architects and developers to ensure design specifications are precise and yield a solid return on investment for clients.
- Demonstrate your proficiency in crafting highly complex design, coding, and testing documentation to produce a technical product that aligns with client expectations.
- Engage in essential development, domain, application design, web service, and database methodologies, adhering to best practices as advised by the project lead or architect.
- Act as a technical consultant to senior management for complex initiatives — from modifying existing applications to designing new application modules and components.
- A minimum of five years of experience in coding with the Java programming language, including familiarity with (JSP, JSF, Spring Hibernate), SQL Oracle DB, Web services (SOAP), Oracle, WebLogic, Eclipse, or other integrated development environments.
- At least five years of experience with Object-Oriented concepts and design patterns.
- Experience with MyFaces Tomahawk and Linux environments.
- Proficient in GitLab or GitHub, with strong technical writing, presentation, and analytical skills in UI and SAST.
- Experience in cloud migration is advantageous.
- Consideration for all USA locations, including remote work options.
- Potential travel opportunities as part of your responsibilities (0-10%).
Compensation and Benefits
The salary range for this position is $72,000 to $104,000 annually, with the base pay offered varying based on geographic location, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
