As a Reliability Engineer – Software and Data Analytics at Ford Motor Company, you will play a key role in developing Quality, Reliable, Durable vehicles for customers around the globe. Successful applicants must possess a strong interest in Reliability, product testing, customer support and data analytics. Workload will consist of supporting cross functional groups to identify reliability challenges; drive to robust reliability solutions early in the development; and track reliability through product launch. Projects will be targeted to high profile new products, technology, and launches. The position requires presentation of status and findings allowing diverse management exposure.

Minimum

BS degree in Engineering or similar technical field
5 years' experience in Reliability, Quality, Testing or Product Engineering
Experience in vehicle software and hardware
Experience in Data Modeling, analytics, data governance, and scripting (Python) to process data for modeling
Experience in automotive electronics
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage several unique tasks simultaneously
Ability to develop clear working level documents and management presentations
Ability to comfortably present to the senior management team
Proficiency with using Microsoft Office applications
Strong Ford+ Behaviors
Ability and willingness to travel to both Ford and supplier domestic and foreign locations

MS degree in Engineering or similar technical field
Experience in reliability statistical models
Electric and hybrid vehicle understanding and experience
Experience with reliability modeling software – ReliaSoft, MiniTab, JMP
