Major Accounts Manager

Raise Your Career Bar with Us We are looking for a skilled Major Accounts Manager to join our stellar team In this role, you'll be instrumental in leading direct sales efforts for a portfolio of Named Fortune 1000 accounts and strategic partners.

As a core team member, you will be in charge of devising and executing strategic cybersecurity solutions for accounts, focusing on deploying state-of-the-art Fortinet products and services on an enterprise scale. Cultivate and maintain relationships with executives to drive successful sales processes.

Collaborate seamlessly with internal teams to create and deliver compelling Contract Bids, Proposals, RFI/RFP Responses, and Statements of Work. Negotiate terms with clients for win-win outcomes that set the stage for lasting partnerships.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Generate and oversee enterprise opportunities, guiding the sales process to successful completion.
  • Meet quarterly sales targets consistently.
  • Build a strong sales pipeline by qualifying opportunities and providing accurate forecasts.

Required Skills:

  • Experience: 5-8 years in sales, with a focus on Fortune 1000 Major Accounts.
  • 3+ years successful sales of enterprise network security products and services.
  • Proven track record of meeting sales quotas and maintaining consistent performance.
  • Proficient in closing substantial deals.
  • Excellent presentation skills targeted at executives and team members.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Self-motivated and independent thinker adept at navigating sales cycles.
  • Thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic setting.
  • Competitive self-starter mentality.
  • Willingness to spend more than 50% of working time outside the office, including travel.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience (preferably with a graduate degree).

Compensation and Benefits:

At Fortinet, we appreciate our employees and offer a comprehensive benefits package. This includes medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance, 401(k), 11 paid holidays, vacation time, and sick leave. Salaries are competitive and based on various factors. On-target earnings for this role range from $220,000 to $280,000 annually. Salary offers will depend on factors like skills, experience, and location. Eligibility for our equity program and commissions is also included in the package.
