This position is located in Denver, Colorado as a hybrid position requiring 3 days in office (Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday) or Remote in Chicago, IL or New York City. Candidates must live in the United States.

What you will be doing:

  • Hire, coach, and develop team members (Client Partnerships and Account Management) to achieve their revenue and professional growth goals
  • Evangelize the potential of Ibotta's data asset in enriching our CPG clients' 1st party data strategy
  • Build and optimize our digital audience sales approach, finding new ways to penetrate agency media teams
  • Build processes to ensure our operational approach aligns with Ibotta and industry-wide data privacy best practices
  • Build sales quotas, performance management plans, and training agendas
  • Drive resolution of complex problems by bringing in others and leading process
  • Exceed annual revenue targets through the development, advancement, and closure of data and media product partnerships
  • Develop and expand relationships with the largest strategic agency and CPG accounts in conjunction with your team; lead and/or delegate as necessary to drive growth
  • Execute and deliver on cross-functional initiatives that provide business impact beyond team's accounts including product strategy, market strategy, go to market and other strategic outreach initiatives
  • Work closely with other functional teams including but not limited to Client Analytics, Marketing, Sales Enablement, and Data Engineering to ensure client partnerships are successful
  • Travel up to 40%

What we are looking for:

  • 8-11 years of experience in a data driven sales role
  • 3-5 years of previous management experience required
  • Bachelor's Degree required
  • Technical Skills: G Suite, MS Office, Looker, fluency in AdTech platforms and vocabulary
  • Experience selling digital audience and data based products, mobile, or media advertising solutions into verticals such as CPG and Retai
  • Knowledge of the AdTech ecosystem, including the key components of the tech stack, the evolving privacy landscape, consumer identifiers, 1st party data trends and needs, audience targeting and measurement, etc.
  • Excellent data storytelling skills - the ability to translate raw data into actionable, easy-to-grasp solutions for customer needs
  • Proven ability to sell into high-level leadership (including C-level) and to navigate potential customer organizations to connect with the business owner/decision maker
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal (candidates do a mock pitch as part of the hiring process)
  • Proven negotiation skills and demonstrated ability to close the deal
  • Outstanding leadership abilities and proven success as a leader with a large or high-growth organization, ability to coach varying skill levels
  • Flexibility, accountability, and resourcefulness to work with little direction in a fast-paced startup environment.
