About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Tax Senior Manager- Partnership Tax Services to join our team at Baker Tilly Advisory Group, LP. As a trusted member of our engagement team, you will provide various tax compliance and consulting services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Be a valued tax business advisor, focusing on day-to-day tax matters
  • Consult on technical matters and special projects in various areas of flow-through taxation
  • Research various tax matters, respond to IRS and other tax authority inquiries
  • Coordinate with specialty tax practices on complicated tax matters in areas such as state and local, high net worth, and international
  • Assist with managing engagement staffing and efficiency
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Law, or a similar degree in Business, Masters or advanced degree desirable
  • CPA or JD required
  • Seven (7)+ years' experience providing federal and multi-state tax compliance and consulting services in a professional services firm
  • Four (4)+ years' of supervisory experience, mentoring and counseling associates
  • Significant experience with Partnerships and Special/Complex Partnership Allocations
  • Demonstrated management, analytical, organization, interpersonal, project management, communication skills
  • Ability to lead and supervise others, provide exceptional client service, demonstrate commitment to continuous learning in order to stay current
