The Position Works closely with Laboratory personnel to support repairs, preventive maintenance & calibration of laboratory instrumentation. schedule resources as related to third party instrument services. responsible for activities related to BMS & alarm handling. Relationships Manager. Essential FunctionsResource scheduling as related to third party instrument servicesAccurately & legibly records all activities in appropriate documentation. Writes work ordersReviews documentation for accuracy & completenessInstrument specifications, scheduled maintenance, repair, & calibrationIdentifies & handles deviations per proper procedures for measuring equipmentSupports cross-functional investigations & participates in systematic problems solvingUnderstand & execute GMP & compliance protocols for instrument validationExecutes work according to schedule & department planEvaluates instrument performance & responds to potential issuesContributes to process confirmationsMaintains training qualifications on time. Supports training others as requiredFollow all safety and environmental requirements in the performance of dutiesOther accountabilities, as assigned Physical Requirements Moves equipment &/or supplies weighing up to 33 pounds within the facility using various body positions. Ability to do close precision work with their hands. Must be able to remain in a stationary position (sitting and standing) 50% of the time. May required corrected vision to 20/25 based on role.
