IT Site Support Specialist IV

Performs the installation, repair and preventative maintenance of personal computer and related systems; supports approved and allowed software to meet user requirements; troubleshoots software and hardware failures and identifies network problems when they relate to user endpoint devices; performs the installation, modification, testing and servicing on all internal/in-house data communications network equipment; assists in the recommendation for improvements and the development of technical standards; performs work of high

complexity.

· Active Directory; add new systems to the network; unlock/reset user account passwords

· Hardware; complete hardware installations, equipment moves; BIOS patches; hardware troubleshooting; desktop hardware support of end user systems;

· Network; patching drops, monitoring network availability; troubleshooting connectivity issues

· PBX phone system experience desirable. Troubleshoot phone connectivity issues, programming extension changes

· Software; install licensed software on workstations

· Provision/Deployments; Provision user workstations using ServiceNow provisioning utilities, have knowledge of deploying systems imaging tools with current OS patches for new and older systems; imaging and inventory new systems for stock; collect and dispose of obsolete equipment.

· Security Patching; ensure user workstations are up to date with all security patches

· Maintain printers and contact vendors for printer repairs; work with Systems admin staff to configure new print queues and new printers.

· Partner with Security to sanitize workstations which may have been exposed to classified material.

· Participate in safety training and comply with safety policies and practices.

· Collaborate in team meetings and activities

· Provide Executive level support and assistance, on-site and remote as needed

· Provide on-call support after hours, as assigned. Can be remote or on-site, depending on need.

· Cell phone Management, from troubleshooting to Backoffice management

· Printer Management, in support of the Tech 1-3, as needed.

Minimum:

· 5-8 years of PC tech experience (network and technical troubleshooting in a corporate WAN environment, familiarity with a variety of

software, hardware and software applications)

· High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED).

· Computer skills: Advanced knowledge of MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook), AD Domain Console, ServiceNow, Service Desk; ability to use Enterprise-wide information systems such as Visual

· Experience with McAfee EPO suite (Virus/Spam, Drive Encryption)

· Experience in Mobile Device Management (MDM) applications such as Airwatch or Apple Platform Deployment

· Experience in high-pressure situations, supporting executive level management.

Analytical skills: ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited

standardization exists; ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form; ability to work with data

reports

Time Management & organizational skills:

flexibility and adaptability to changing priorities and assignments; ability to maintain confidentiality; ability to perform with a high degree of

multi-tasking familiar with usage in general office equipment.
