As a Business Development Director, you will be responsible for fundraising and sales initiatives, focusing on new business development and growth of existing corporate partnerships. Your key responsibilities will include:
  • Mission Integration: Work with various departments to effectively communicate the LLS mission and organize donor cultivation events.
  • Business & Corporate Development: Generate and manage a corporate portfolio, collaborate with national partners, and create sponsorship plans.
  • Volunteer Management: Partner with volunteers to maximize corporate relationships and develop engagement plans.
  • Innovation in Fundraising: Engage in fundraising activities, develop grant proposals, and promote LLS initiatives.
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree and 7-8 years of relevant experience. You should have strong customer service skills, project management abilities, and persuasive communication. This role may require local travel and occasional work on nights and weekends.
