Hardware Engineer

Join our team as a Facilities and Hardware Technician and work on supporting satellite ground systems for the Space Systems Command at a location in New Mexico. You will be responsible for installing, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining all IT and telecom equipment. The position requires physical activity such as lifting heavy boxes, climbing ladders, and working both indoors and outdoors.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Perform technical reviews of mechanical engineering designs
  • Assist in developing estimates for new equipment
  • Emergency repairs of facility and equipment
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues
  • Manage computer and network spares
  • Coordinate with task order manager
  • Anticipate travel to remote site areas
  • Participate in on-call support

Qualifications:

  • Active DoD Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility
  • Bachelor's Degree in engineering or equivalent
  • Experience supporting IT equipment
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment
