About the role:
As an Assistant Store Manager at Babyletto, you will play a pivotal role in support ing our first retail location Your role will focus on business performance , managing the client experience , and associate development whil e representing Baby letto 's core values.
Wh at you'll be doing:

  • Provide product and design assistance to potential parents and growing families
  • Maintain a welcoming store environment and provide exceptional service to every person that walks through our doors
  • Model and coach team members on clienteling and selling best practices
  • Collaborate with S tore Manager to assess business opportunities and develop actio n plans to drive sales results
  • Connect and build relationships in Design Trade
  • Identify and recruit talent to maintain a potential store team bench
  • Responsibility in managin g opening / closing procedures

What you bring to the table:

  • 3+ years of experience in retail management . Experience in furniture, baby, or design showrooms is a plus
  • Proven record in d evelop ing s t ore talent
  • Strong leadership abilities. Can inspire and motivate yourself and others
  • Strong or ganizational and time management skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Famili arity with Shopify is a plus
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Can perform effectively on sales floor, which includes standing for long periods of time, kneeling, bending, and squatting
  • Ability to lift small-medium items up to 25 lbs utilizing proper techniques
  • Flexible Schedule; Available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
