We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Procurement Specialist to join our dynamic Supply Chain/Procurement team here at Revolution, a leading cannabis retail chain. The ideal candidate will support team efforts across data entry/record keeping and provide administrative support across the Inventory Management and Vendor Relations.

This is a high-impact function here at Rev that will be essential asset for maintaining accurate records, ensuring timely procurement of products, and supporting the procurement team in various tasks and will report up into our Senior Manager – Buyer & Allocations

Job Type: Full-Time Hybrid in Chicago, IL (1300 North Branch Street) OR Delavan, IL

Key Responsibilities:

Data Entry and Record Keeping:

Accurately enter procurement data into the systems of record, including purchase orders, invoices, and inventory updatesMaintain detailed and organized procurement records, ensuring all data is up-to-date and easily accessibleVerify and reconcile data to ensure accuracy and completenessAdministrative Support:Assist in preparing and processing purchase ordersCoordinate with vendors and suppliers to obtain product information, pricing, and availability, under the guidance of the Sr. ManagerMonitor and track the status of orders and deliveries, updating the procurement team as necessaryServe as the point of contact between the Procurement group and the FP&A team related to all purchasing mattersInventory Management:Assist in monitoring inventory levels and generating reports to ensure optimal stock levelsCollaborate with the inventory team to address discrepancies and resolve issues related to product availabilityProcess returns and credit requests in conjunction with the retail teamsVendor Relations:Communicate with vendors to resolve any issues related to orders and invoicesMaintain positive relationships with suppliers to ensure reliable and timely product procurement

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Business Admin/Supply Chain Management/Finance or other related field OR equivalent work experienceCPSM or CPM Certifications preferred but NOT requiredProven experience in data entry, administration, or a related fieldProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, and experience with procurement softwareStrong analytical skills, attention to detail, and organizational skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environmentKnowledge of the cannabis industry is an advantage but not requiredExperience using Microsoft Dynamics NAV/Business Central is an advantage but not required Note: A qualifying applicant must successfully complete a 90 day evaluation period.
