Position Overview: The AWS Product Marketing team is in search of a seasoned, proactive events program manager who can design and implement systems and processes that enable the Product Marketing organization to expand efficiently and communicate AWS's key messages to both business and technical audiences during our premier customer conference.

Role Responsibilities: As a pivotal member of the AWS Product Marketing team, you will collaborate with various stakeholders across AWS Sales, Marketing, and service teams to create, execute, and manage scalable programs and processes that effectively communicate AWS's most significant narratives to customers and partners worldwide.

Your role will involve close cooperation with AWS subject matter experts, product marketers, and content managers tasked with delivering messages to a vast, globally distributed audience, both internally and externally.

Key Duties Include:

  • Identifying and managing efficient processes to enhance adaptability within the product marketing team.
  • Overseeing cross-category reporting to provide leadership with program metrics.
  • Facilitating collaboration with stakeholder teams.
  • Developing and monitoring success metrics.

Ideal Candidate Profile: The successful candidate will be detail-oriented, organized, and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously while navigating rapidly changing priorities. You will serve as a point of escalation for content track owners and work alongside senior leadership to eliminate obstacles, ensuring a high-quality experience for conference attendees.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of professional marketing experience.
  • Proficiency in using data and metrics to drive improvements.
  • Experience with Excel or Tableau for data manipulation and reporting.
  • Experience in building and executing cross-functional marketing programs.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in measuring impact and identifying improvements through data.
  • Familiarity with systems and tools for email, web analytics, and CRM.
