The Role: Director, Americas Marketing

Responsibilities and Impact: The Head of Regional Marketing, Americas has direct responsibility and accountability for regional marketing strategy, execution, and performance in the US, Canada, and Latin America. From customer engagement programs and events to account-based marketing and lead generation, this role will work closely and collaboratively with senior stakeholders across marketing, sales, business development, client service, commercial operations, research, and product management to develop and implement targeted marketing campaigns that align with business objectives.

This role requires a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of these markets and communities and the know-how to drive impactful results. This person will team up with sales leadership to drive growth, customer experience, and customer success across the geographies, lead and motivate a team of field marketers, partner tightly with digital and new logo team to create demand, and work with our channel team and partners to develop and maintain a strong competitive position.

Responsibilities:

  • Act as the overall lead for field marketing in the Americas for sales, customers, and partners
  • Manage a team of field marketers and provide guidance and support as needed.
  • Develop marketing plans focused on actionable and measurable initiatives aligned to pipeline targets, budgets, and overall business goals.
  • Act as a player coach directly executing and owning a broad range of critical components of the marketing strategy including programs and events that reach top partners, accounts, industries, and segments.
  • Design and implement ABM strategies tailored to high-value target accounts to drive deeper engagement and higher conversion rates.
  • Work closely with sales leadership to identify target accounts and create personalized 1-to-1 and 1-to-few tactical outreaches.
  • Develop and deliver customized content, campaigns, and signature events aimed at specific accounts to support sales objectives.
  • Utilize data and analytics to measure the effectiveness of ABM initiatives and optimize future efforts.
  • Collaborate with sales teams to understand market trends, customer needs, and competitor insights.
  • Manage and act on daily data, insights, and results from regional marketing programs.
  • Analyze marketing performance metrics and provide recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Effectively manage detailed monthly, quarterly, and annual budgeting and forecasting as part of an integrated Demand Generation marketing budget and plan.

What We're Looking For:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing or a related field. MBA preferred.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in field marketing, preferably in B2B technology, financial services, energy, or commodities.
  • Experience in tech such as Adobe Experience Manager, Marketo, Cvent, Salesforce, and Customer Data Platforms is valuable.
  • Proven track record of successfully planning and executing customer engagement programs and events.
  • Strong knowledge of account-based marketing strategies and lead generation tactics.
  • Proficiency in customer marketing, including advocacy and referral programs.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Compensation/Benefits Information:

S&P Global states that the anticipated base salary range for this position is $107,100 to $212,975. Final base salary for this role will be based on the individual's geographic location, as well as experience level, skill set, training, licenses and certifications.

In addition to base compensation, this role is eligible for an annual incentive plan. This role is not eligible for additional compensation such as an annual incentive bonus or sales commission plan.
