WHAT YOU'LL DO

As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading and overseeing the successful planning, execution, monitoring, and closure of projects within the organization both external and internal facing. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and vendors to ensure project objectives are met on time, within budget, and with high quality. The Project Manager will utilize project management methodologies, tools, and techniques to drive project success, manage risks, and effectively communicate project status and progress to stakeholders. A team player looking to make a significant impact.

This position offers the flexibility of remote work within the United States.

HOW YOU'LL SPEND YOUR TIME

  • Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
  • Develop and manage project plans, timelines, and budgets, utilizing project management software and tools.
  • Allocate resources, including team members and external vendors, to ensure project tasks are assigned and completed effectively.
  • Lead and motivate cross-functional project teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performing project environment.
  • Monitor and track project progress, identifying potential risks and issues, and implementing mitigation strategies as needed.
  • Communicate project updates, status, and key milestones to stakeholders, ensuring transparency and effective communication throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Manage project documentation, including project charters, requirements, change requests, and lessons learned, ensuring accuracy and accessibility for future reference.
  • Conduct regular project meetings, coordinating and facilitating effective communication and collaboration among project team members.
  • Drive continuous improvement by analyzing project performance and implementing best practices and lessons learned in future projects.
  • Ensure projects are delivered with high quality, meeting stakeholder expectations and delivering value to the organization.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, project management, or a related field. A master's degree is a plus
  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience in project management-related field (e.g. Consulting, Finance, Operations, and Portfolio Management), with a proven track record of successfully delivering projects on time and within budget
  • Waterfall, Agile, and Safe Development process experience
  • Project management certifications such as PMP or PRINCE2 preferred
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of project management principles, methodologies, and best practices
  • Proficiency in using project management software and tools to manage project plans, timelines, and resources
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire cross-functional teams
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize workload effectively
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Project
  • Experience creating project budgets and assessing projects/programs financial data
