Qualifications

Experience: A minimum of 5 years in project management within industrial plant settings, engineering, or construction management, specifically in heavy industry manufacturing.

Education: A Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related discipline is required.

Skills: Proficient project management capabilities, with a solid understanding of safety protocols, engineering principles, cost management, and scheduling. Excellent written communication, contract negotiation, and leadership skills are essential.

Technical Proficiencies

  • Comprehensive knowledge of project management methodologies and the ability to manage projects in a holistic manner.
  • Familiarity with safety regulations, engineering standards, cost estimation, and performance evaluation metrics.
  • Competence in drafting reports, managing project correspondence, and overseeing contracts.
  • Understanding of revenue models, profit and loss statements, and project completion forecasts.
  • Expertise in budget management and facilitating team discussions.

Physical Demands

  • Capability to wear full personal protective equipment, including fire-resistant clothing, hard hats, steel-toed boots, gloves, and eye protection.
  • Ability to pass a respirator fit test.
  • Regularly required to stand, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, and walk long distances.
  • Ability to climb ladders and work at elevated heights with appropriate fall protection.
  • Capacity to lift up to 25 pounds frequently and up to 50 pounds occasionally.
  • Good depth perception, peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus are necessary.
