Requirements, Roles & Responsibilities:
Client and account management
Client Relationship Management: Objective of this activity is to interface with client executives, understand the requirements, develop deep partnering relationship aimed at servicing client business requirements
ü Build and Manage relationships with client executives at CIO, Senior Vice President, Vice President and Director levels across different lines of business where Company is executing projects
ü Liaise with client executives to define, develop and implement strategies to strengthen the engagement model
ü Meet with Client Executive Management to review performance and manage complaints on project execution
ü Responsible for Client Satisfaction. Conduct and co-ordinate annual Client Satisfaction survey and ensure that the feedback provided by the clients are analyzed and corrective action items
ü are taken. Also, conducts engagement level feedback at the end of every project with the customer
ü Enable industry wide references based on work performed for client
Opportunity identification, Proposal Development and New Business Development: Objective of this activity is to look for active opportunities, formulate pursuit team to use capabilities to develop solutions / quality products in less time to market and negotiate price
ü Oversee the entire sales lifecycle through opportunity identification, pipeline management, pursuit management, solution development, presentation to client executives and final deal negotiation
ü Look for active opportunities in the account and engage the client strategically
ü Provide client context to service lines in order to provide solution as per client's need in the pursuit, involving Domain Solutions, Cross selling, new products and Intellectual Property
ü Organize and anchor the demonstration of new products / features / point-of-views at client site
ü Setup and facilitate proposal negotiation and closure
ü Responsible for overall Proposal through coordinating with different stakeholders such as Procurement, Legal and with multiple service lines working on the proposal, with the purpose of demonstrating business value to the client
Account Management, Financial Management, Execution of MSA and SOWs / WOs: Objective of this activity is to Manage account operations, co-ordinate with financial and legal teams on various account activities
ü As an Engagement Manager prepare, present and periodically review performance per the account plan with Senior Leadership
ü Manage account level Key Performance Indicators (KPI) including Revenue, Margin, Revenue Productivity and Client Satisfaction levels
ü Based on account level KPIs, initiate / direct account team on the corrective strategy / action plans to improve performance levels
ü Sign-off SOW's/Contracts for engagements
ü Update internal Sales / Account Management systems & internal Applications like BE (for Best Estimates), OMS (for LOE and Project code creation), CRM (to manage opportunities and leads), Legal documentation to ensure norms / process / compliance requirements are met
ü Facilitate discussions on contract finalization with Legal Authorities on both and Client sides
ü Work with Accounts Receivable Officer and Customer's finance teams to ensure the account receivables targets are met
People Management: Objective of this activity is to mentor key personnel within the account Tasks:
ü Mentor account team working closely with Delivery Managers/Heads to provide development feedback for senior delivery team members of the account management team
ü Conduct interviews to hire appropriately skilled people for various positions within the account team
ü Coach direct reports
ü Provide recommendations for performance evaluation, promotions, termination, salary increases, role changes and new training programs for personnel in the team
ü Interact with service lines for the acquisition of required personnel from within or outside the company
ü Client Relationship Management: Interface with client executives, understand the requirements, develop deep partnering relationship aimed at servicing client business requirements
ü Opportunity identification, Proposal Development and New Business Development: Oversee the entire sales life-cycle through opportunity identification, pipeline management, pursuit management, solution development leveraging capabilities, presentation to client executives and final deal negotiation
ü Account Management, Financial Management, Execution of MSA and SOWs / WOs: Develop the Account plan and manage account level KPI's, manage account operations, sign-off SOW/Contracts for engagements and co-ordinate with financial and legal teams as needed
ü People Management: Mentor account team working closely with Delivery Managers/Heads to provide development feedback for senior delivery team members of the account management team. Coach direct reports

Salary and Other Compensation:
The annual salary for this position is between $[107, ,000] depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program and stock options, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
