Job Description

Primary Function of Position

The Technical Implementation Project Manager will serve as an interface between the customer and Intuitive implementation teams to schedule, coordinate and drive cross-functional implementation activities to ensure the success of digital integration to include video capture and data insights. Engaging with internal and external stakeholders, including hospital executives and IT personnel, they equip teams for successful implementation and sustainable digital programs. Successful candidates excel in communication, stakeholder engagement, project management, and horizontal leadership, driving project momentum and adaptation to customer needs.

Essential Job Duties

  • Partners with Digital Solution Integration Specialists (DSIS) and Technical Solution Consultants(TSC), customer representatives and other partners to define, plan, and manage.
  • Serves as the primary point of contact between all technical teams and their commercial and service counterparts
  • Review and facilitate scope change requests and stakeholder approval
  • Work with assigned resources to execute against the project plan, consistent with the project scope and on schedule
  • Intake, triage, and coordinate project scope change requests across all stakeholders
  • Responsible for consistent communication to stakeholders, including: scope changes, schedule changes, milestone achievements, routine status updates, and others as required to maintain stakeholder awareness
  • Schedules, conducts, and reports upon routine status meetings as defined with the project plan
  • Conduct technical project kick-off meetings with internal and external stakeholders
  • Schedules and manages customer site and resource availability, and accuracy of field service orders to enable continuity of work and ensure resource efficiency
  • Identifies resource and schedule issues, and develops contingency plans to mitigate those risks
  • Responsible for escalation, decision tracking, and resolution of any identified technical implementation risks or challenges
  • Maintains and assure accuracy of detail within the project tracking system (Gainsight or others as required)
  • Manages multiple ongoing projects and resources while successfully establishing work expectations across internal and external customers
  • Forges solid relationships internally and with customer contacts
  • Partners with colleagues to achieve implementation goals, ensuring thorough documentation and careful project transitions, to satisfy the clinical expectations
  • Identify and drive root cause analysis on timeline and executional delays, including performance impact due to skill gaps
  • Project close reporting to include: project efficiency metrics, exceptions, scope changes, and recommendations for improvements
  • Project related administrative duties include but are not limited to; field activity reports, asset tracking, implementation training records, return material authorizations (RMA), expense reports and other quality documentation as required
