Job Title: Electrical Pricing Specialist
Pay Rate: $33 to $35/HR
Duration: 8 months (Potential for further extension)
Location: Peachtree Corners, GA (Initially onsite for 1 month, then hybrid)
Shift: 8:00 am – 5:00 pm
Onsite Mon-Thurs for the First Month then Hybrid 2-3 days/week.
This role is part of the Building Automation division.
We are seeking a Pricing Analyst (Electrical/Electronics) to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Oversee the pricing of apparatus for projects across designated Sales regions, primarily utilizing COMPAS GO and related tools.
- Manage the MAP Queue to ensure timely responses to quotes across all regions.
- Work closely with Sales teams to identify and achieve target pricing for projects.
- Support business unit profit objectives by effectively managing margins in project pricing.
- Adhere to pricing and margin guidelines established by MAP team management.
- Engage with third-party suppliers to obtain costs and set selling prices for buyout products.
- Collaborate with MAP team members to ensure consistent practices and prompt responses.
- Coordinate with the Standard Products Pricing team.
- Partner with COMPAS support to enhance process efficiencies.
- Ensure compliance with client policies and procedures.
Required Knowledge & Skills:
- Proficient in system applications, particularly COMPAS GO, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Basic understanding of electrical distribution equipment, including panelboards, switchboards, and busway.
- Ability to apply critical thinking to balance profitability and competitiveness in pricing strategies.
- Strong customer service orientation with internal stakeholders, utilizing effective interpersonal and communication skills.
- Moderate knowledge of low voltage distribution apparatus, systems, and terminology.
- Exhibit strong interpersonal, negotiation, and influencing capabilities.
- Above-average mathematical skills are essential due to the financial aspects of the role.
Education & Experience:
- BS/BA degree required, preferably in technical or financial fields.
- Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in the electrical distribution industry.
- Exceptional communication skills.
- Experience working in a team environment with shared objectives and successful outcomes.
- Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States without requiring employer-sponsored work authorization.
