Environmental Compliance Manager

We are seeking an experienced Environmental Compliance Manager to join our team at Siemens Industry, Inc. in North America. As a key member of our Smart Infrastructure Electrical Products Business, you will play a critical role in ensuring compliance with environmental regulations and laws.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with site teams to understand environmentally relevant operations, programs, and reporting obligations.
- Identify and implement centralized environmental data collection systems to support streamlined compliance reporting for manufacturing sites.
- Coordinate and communicate effectively with corporate resources and site teams related to new/emerging environmental programs, regulatory obligations, and corresponding reporting.
- Lead efforts to ensure site environmental compliance programs remain current, including ISO 14001 EMS documentation.
- Develop an EP NA US site environmental compliance reporting dashboard with KPIs and metrics to track environmental compliance deliverables and on-time reporting.
- Serve as the business unit's central internal and external contact for US environmental regulatory programs and reporting.
- Serve as an environmental compliance subject matter expert as it relates to construction and/or process projects that may require input relevant to environmental permitting, reporting, notification, etc.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, chemistry, environmental science, or a related technical degree.
- 10+ years of experience as an environmental compliance professional responsible for data collection, preparation, and submission of Toxic Release Inventory (TRI), Tier II, and RCRA reports.
- Project management and organizational skills to assess and mitigate project-related environmental compliance risks.
- Ability to analyze data, recognize business impact, and communicate trends.
- Familiarity with ISO 14001:2015 Environmental Management System and corresponding requirements as it relates to environmental compliance.
- Experience with Data Analytics and Visualization Software (Tableau, Power BI) a plus.
- Proficient in the use of MS Office programs, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams.
- Excellent verbal and written skills.
- Must be eligible to work in the US without sponsorship now or in the future.
- Master's degree preferred.
- Preferred Lean Six Sigma Green Belt.
- Individual must be self-directed with the ability to work with limited supervision.
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams relative to environmental projects/initiatives to drive environmental performance improvement.
- Critical thinking and excellent problem-solving skills to analyze complex issues and devise innovative solutions.
