Who You Are

As the Procurement Engineering Senior Manager, you'll support the Global Supply Chain organization concentrating on Supplier Performance Management, toward the execution
of Aeronautics business commitments.

What You Will Be Doing

Areas of concentration include Supplier Performance
Assessment, Capacity Analysis of Suppliers, Risk
Management & Data Analytics; and Procurement
Engineering. Supplier Capacity assessment and
capacity modeling to meet demand and rate
readiness. Responsibilities include engaging with
other functional resources, i.e. Systems
Engineers, Manufacturing Engineers, and
Industrial Engineers as needed for specific skills
needed to gain greater insight into the
interdependencies of the supplier technical
performance and product requirements. (i.e.
new product development, production scale up,
technology refresh or modernization, Diminishing
Manufacturing Sources, redesign and critical
technical performance.) This position will evolve
current work methods using integrated data
analytics and management systems ensuring
timely statistical prediction and identification of
obstructions in the supply chain effecting
production /sustainment producibility and
mission execution. Confirm technical support
teams required to improve supplier quality and
delivery performance, lead the supplier capacity
analysis and assessments required to meet F-35
and sustainment ramp-up in addition to legacy
programs. Develop, implement and maintain
integrated supplier quality rating system in
coordination with Supplier Quality.

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience Experience developing longterm strategies and tactical plans to achieve enterprise objectives Experience with subcontract cost, quality, schedule and/or technical program performance Experience with Aircraft Components and Manufacturing Methods Experience working with suppliers Domestic & International travel may be required, up to approximately 50%Desired Skills:

Postgraduate education in business, system engineering, or other manufacturingoriented disciplines Lean/6Sigma Black Belt and/or Certified Quality Engineer Knowledge of aerospace industry quality standards (e.g. ISO9001; AS9100; AS9102, AS9110; AS9120; etc.) Knowledge of FAR and DFARS requirements Experience interfacing and interacting with all levels of the organization Experience interfacing with US Government customers and agencies (e.g. DCMA; FAA) Organizational skills to handle many overlapping projects simultaneously Supply Chain Integration experience Experience executing lean processes and initiatives Experience executing quality improvement initiatives Experience managing engineering and procurement excellence projects, and teams

Experience with SAP
Experience leading large cross functional initiatives Presentation skills and ability to address complex matters; and present potential solutions to Senior Leadership and client base Experienced at identifying and building organizational talent, team building and development Experienced in Relationship & team building; both internally and externally Leadership experience with a technical team Familiarity with Engineering and Technical Process Requirements Program/project management training, certification and/or experienceSecurity Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Remote Telework:

The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
