Position Overview:
As a Material Analyst, you will be integral to the supply chain management process, ensuring that part inventories are maintained at optimal levels to meet global operational demands.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Collaborate in the planning, procurement, logistics, and inventory management of components across the business unit.
2. Utilize your expertise in supply chain management to meet established performance metrics.
3. Analyze key performance indicators to ensure that supply chain service level objectives are met.
4. Conduct lifecycle planning for rotable and perishable inventory items as necessary.
5. Build and maintain relationships with various functional areas to address issues related to shortages, distribution, and customer provisioning.

Essential Skills:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Strong project management capabilities.
- Familiarity with ERP systems, preferably SAP or similar.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in demand planning, inventory management, or procurement.
- APICS certification is preferred.

Additional Responsibilities:
1. Develop replenishment strategies to address future inventory discrepancies.
2. Prepare comprehensive reports on workload, inventory levels, and customer fill rates.
3. Review engineering specifications and vendor catalogs to establish initial spare parts requirements.
4. Participate in training initiatives for new team members.

Travel Requirements:
Limited travel may be necessary, depending on the area of specialization.

Other Considerations:
Experience with aircraft parts and regulations is advantageous. Candidates should possess a strong understanding of the financial implications of inventory management decisions.
