Job Title: Project Manager - Data Analytics Innovation
Location: Smartbridge is located in Houston, TX. Some travel to our office and client locations will be required. ~25%
Salary: Depends on Experience - Base Salary 120K to 140K with bonus earning potential
We are embarking on a data analytics innovation project aimed at enhancing AI capabilities and are in search of a seasoned Project Manager as one of the leaders for this ambitious project on a contract basis. This role is designed for a leader who thrives in fast-paced environments and is skilled in turning complex data into strategic assets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Spearhead the planning and execution of a high-profile data analytics project, ensuring alignment with our AI objectives.
- Manage project scope, timelines, and resources effectively, integrating AI and machine learning technologies to meet project goals.
- Work closely with data scientists, AI experts, and business units to deliver project outcomes within the contractual period.
- Apply agile and scrum methodologies to manage project workflows, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Monitor project performance against expectations, managing changes in project scope, schedule, and costs.
- Communicate clearly and effectively with all project stakeholders, facilitating collaboration and transparency.
- Lead risk management efforts to minimize project risks and ensure timely resolution of issues.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement by incorporating advanced data tools and methodologies into the project framework.
Requirements:
- At least 5 years of project management experience, with substantial involvement in AI and data-driven projects.
- Food / Quick Service Industry experience preferred
- Demonstrated expertise in managing agile AI projects that leverage Microsoft Azure.
- Proficient in Agile project management; Scrum Master certification is preferred.
- Strong leadership and negotiation skills, capable of managing diverse teams and complex stakeholder relationships.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational abilities.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science, Data Science, or Engineering; Master's degree is advantageous.
