Wood's Operations Americas division is actively seeking a Digital Transformation Manager to join our business development team.

In today's fast-paced environment, technology is evolving at an unprecedented rate, reshaping our interactions and thought processes. The Digital Transformation Manager will spearhead the integration of digital solutions within Operations Americas, serving as a crucial driver for growth and enhancing strategic client partnerships. This role necessitates extensive client engagement to identify how digital technologies can address their needs, along with the practical delivery and execution of these solutions.

The Digital Transformation Manager will be instrumental in generating revenue through the sale of digital technologies while improving margins through enhanced operational efficiencies. Collaboration with the Consulting division will be essential to define and implement a digital strategy for Operations Americas. Additionally, this position will oversee and manage essential third-party technology partnerships to create a compelling value proposition for our clients.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Gain a comprehensive understanding of Operations Americas' value proposition and delivery models to guide the selection and application of digital technologies.
  • Lead the formulation of the Digital Solution Strategy for both current and future project portfolios within Operations Americas.
  • Assess and address client needs while directing the implementation of digital solutions alongside client teams.
  • Foster strong relationships and maintain regular communication with product stakeholders, clients, and partners to influence product strategy.
  • Manage third-party technology partnerships to optimize solution costs and performance.
  • Participate in industry forums and groups to promote digital solutions within the Energy Sector.
  • Collaborate closely with all Operations Americas P&L managers and G&D teams to identify and prioritize digital growth opportunities.
  • Possess a robust technical understanding of technologies and digital trends, with a passion for advanced analytics and emerging technologies.
  • Define the technical strategy for each product in conjunction with the S2S and Ops Americas regional leadership team.
QUALIFICATIONS

The ideal candidate for the Digital Transformation Manager role is proactive and ambitious, comfortable in a client-facing sales environment, and possesses proven facilitation skills. They should have experience in planning and conducting workshops that foster collaborative problem-solving and solution definition. Additionally, experience in managing third-party suppliers and overseeing solution implementation with a focus on cost and project management is essential.

We are particularly interested in candidates who are approximately five years into their careers at Wood.

Qualifications:
  • Experience in consultancy or project delivery roles (technical sales, consulting, or senior IT project delivery).
  • Demonstrated success in high-performing customer-facing technical teams to drive impact and influence sales.
  • Experience in innovation facilitation, including workshop delivery.
  • Background in Maintenance or Operations delivery roles.
Knowledge, skills, and experience:
  • Ability to plan and execute initiatives that exceed client expectations and secure direct client revenue.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to actively listen to client needs and translate feedback into high-value solutions.
  • Significant experience in operationally focused senior management roles within complex international organizations.
  • Skilled in managing multiple concurrent projects, meeting deadlines, and maintaining attention to detail.
  • Proficient in deploying various methodologies to lead problem-solving, brainstorming, design thinking, and co-creation workshops.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally to achieve outcomes that benefit our clients.
  • A collaborative team player with a solution-oriented mindset.
  • Capacity to work in an agile manner, embracing and advocating for change.
  • Strong relationship-building skills with third parties, internal stakeholders, and clients.
  • Demonstrable commercial acumen and credibility.
