Our global client in the aerospace and defense industry is looking to bring on a resource to help bolster their long-term SDO (Secret Double Octopus) capabilities with their Identity and Access Management team .

They're looking to bring in an experienced Linux Server Admin to provide hands-on support to their crucial infrastructure that is supporting global applications that are used over 100,000+ times per day.

Last year they onboarded 10k users to SDO and they plan to have migrated 200k users by the end of next year.

This is a great opportunity for someone to come in and provide an immediate impact on a high-visibility platform at a Fortune 50 enterprise This is a REMOTE role.

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of experience with Linux engineering, administration, and support
  • 5+ years of experience managing infrastructure at an enterprise level
o Supporting back-end infrastructure for IAM/SDO projects

  • SQL database management experience
o Hands-on experience mirroring and clustering

  • SIEM/Splunk monitoring experience
  • Scripting experience with Bash, C, and Python
Nice to have:

  • SDO experience
Responsibilities
:

  • Provide engineering support to the Linux infrastructure
  • Find solutions via scripting to solve problems within the SDO infrastructure
  • Monitor SDO infrastructure for potential issues using SIEM and Splunk
  • Troubleshooting, upgrading, and supporting Linux servers
  • Automate current processes to improve efficiency
  • Apply advanced knowledge of Linux administration and platform automation including the underlying theories
