As a Cybersecurity Operations Analyst IV – Your responsibilities will include:

Security Clearance: Top Secret (Minimum fully adjudicated Secret and Interim Top-Secret clearance)

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS (MUST HAVES)

Education: Bachelor’s degree with 4 – 8 years of relevant experience OR Master’s degree with 2 – 6 years of relevant experience

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the Cybersecurity Center contract as part of the Security Engineering and Operations (SE&O) team.
  • Manage infrastructure and security tools for the Cybersecurity Center, assisting multiple Trusted Internet Connection Access Provider (TICAP) sites.
Main Duties:
  • Facilitate Service Management processes to ensure prompt incident response and collaborate with engineering teams for service restoration of critical cybersecurity functions.
  • Independently manage requests for approved services, tracking all request data to ensure customer satisfaction and monitoring request status until resolution.
  • Create incident tickets upon receiving reports of service outages, conduct triage, and take necessary actions to restore services. Collaborate with engineering teams for timely ticket resolution.
  • Work alongside engineering teams and the Information Systems Security Officer to enhance processes and improve incident response times while ensuring compliance with security guidelines.
Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree with 4 – 8 years of relevant experience or Master’s degree with 2 – 6 years of relevant experience.
  • Degree in science, technology, engineering, or a related field.
  • Strong interest in cybersecurity and the engineering of tools for cybersecurity operations.
  • Fundamental understanding of networking, virtualization, server, and desktop maintenance.
  • Aptitude for analyzing data from various sources.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of documenting and conveying the status of requests and incident responses.
  • Current active DOD Secret or Top-Secret clearance.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with Red Hat Linux and Windows systems, including server operations and maintenance.
  • Background in helpdesk support.
  • Experience as an analyst or engineer in a Security Operations Center.
  • Familiarity with Next Generation Firewall Features (Application aware filtering, DNS, IPS, Web filtering, SSL Inspection).
  • Experience with automation tools such as Net brain, Ansible, XSOAR, Forti manager, Panorama.
  • Knowledge of managing SSL and IPSEC VPN clients and site-to-site VPNs.
  • Experience with Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA) preferred.
  • Familiarity with Fortinet and Palo Alto products.
This is a Contract opportunity.
Contract Duration: 6 months – Potential for Full-Time Conversion
Compensation: $50-55/hr
