The HR Service Center Representative is responsible for delivering accurate, high quality, personalized customer service to associates, candidates, retirees, people leaders, HR Business Partners and HR Centers of Excellence. Our representatives receive and respond to inquiries and transaction requests regarding HCM system, payroll, benefits, compensation, employee relations, talent acquisition, HR policies, and general human resources matters that ensures an exceptional customer experience.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Responds to inquiries including, but not limited to, HR policy and procedure, health and wellness benefits, pension, and verification of employment.
  • Provides guidance to assist the employees, managers and HR with the self-service features of our HCM system and ensures that the inquiry is resolved.
  • Determines when appropriate to escalate situations to HRSC Leader.
  • Performs background research and follow-up activities needed to resolve requests that cannot be resolved at the time of initial contact. Conducts the necessary communications with functional specialists and outside vendors, as appropriate, to resolve the issue(s) and communicate results/findings with the customer.
  • Ensures that telephone calls, emails, chats and walk in contacts are responded to in a professional and timely manner. Administers HR policies and procedures that cover multiple functional areas.
  • Collaborates with other HR Service Center team members to resolve unique and complicated associate issues and to implement process and procedural improvements.
  • Performs HR administration and benefits transactions in Workday and other applications as appropriate, and within established performance standards.

Qualifications:

  • Highly motivated self-starter with the ability to work independently and prioritize workload.
  • Strong communication skills, as well as effective listening skills with the ability to demonstrate patience, along with empathy to understand where employees are coming from.
  • Exhibits a positive attitude.
  • Experience with working on a team.
  • Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills to work with different levels of business leadership, business users and functional teams.
  • Flexibility to handle changing work demands.

This role is a hybrid position. You'll join us on Mondays and Wednesdays in our offices to collaborate and build relationships. As this position requires supporting the HR Service Center phone line, it has a dedicated schedule of 8:00am - 4:45pm Monday - Friday.

Physical Job Requirements

  • Ability to utilize the keyboard, computer and/or mouse for up to 8 hours per day
  • Ability to work at least 40 hours per week
  • Ability to utilize the phone and/or virtual meeting platform for 2 - 4 hours per day
  • Ability to perform grasping tasks throughout the entire work day (examples: handwriting, grasping of equipment/machines, paper manipulation, sorting, folding, handling stacks of paper)

The estimated base pay range for this job is:
