The Sales Development Representative is a conventional inside sales position with an unconventional level of support, coaching, and tools. This individual performs the critical role of developing and verifying prospect lists, introducing Safety Net to new clients via phone, and setting up appointments for field-based Business Development Representatives to meet them and learn more about their business. There is no direct selling.

DATABASE MANAGEMENT
SALES AND MARKETING ASSISTANCE
Special projects as determined by management
At least two years of professional work experience, preferably in a business-to-business environment
Strong interpersonal skills, including a professional and pleasant telephone demeanor
Demonstrable written communication skills. Must be able to spell and use correct grammar and punctuation
Established time management
Ability to navigate and learn new software and systems
Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite:
Outlook, Word –intermediate level or higher
High school diploma or GED
Valid driver's license
Experience working as an inside sales professional or in phone-based customer service
Experience using CRM software
Bachelor's degree, preferably in marketing, communications, or related disciplines

3 weeks Paid Time Off (PTO)

On-the-job training provided. Compensation is commensurate with experience.
