Job Description:

Sync Computing is searching for the first full-time Sales Development Representative (SDR) located in Boston, MA. As the first SDR at Sync, you will be part of a fast-paced venture-backed company in the exciting cloud data ecosystem. We're looking for a dynamic and motivated individual who can effectively leverage their sales experience and knowledge of modern data stack technologies to contribute to the company's growth and success.

Responsibilities:

  • Initiate contact key decision-makers from IT, Engineering and business sectors through various communication channels, such as phone calls, emails, and social media, to schedule demos, discovery calls, and follow-up meetings.
  • Foster strong partnerships with the marketing team and Account Executives, fostering a collaborative approach to maximize business success.
  • Utilize a variety of strategies, including targeted outreach, email campaigns, cold-calling, social selling, and networking, to identify and generate new leads
  • Engage with prospects to understand their specific business needs and pain points. Identify high-potential businesses that would be a good fit to work with Sync. Identify high-potential businesses that would be a good fit to work with Sync and book introductory meetings
  • Develop an understanding of Sync's data solution, as well as the broader modern data stack ecosystem. Stay updated on industry trends and advancements to effectively communicate the value proposition to prospects

Qualifications:

  • An ambitious individual who consistently achieves and surpasses set objectives, demonstrating strong self-motivation and initiative
  • Eager to embrace challenges in a rapidly evolving and dynamic setting with a focus on achieving significant growth
  • SDRs work closely with the Sales team, Marketing, and other internal stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software and sales automation tools is desirable
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential for engaging potential customers and building rapport.
  • The ability to communicate complex technical concepts in a clear and concise manner is vital for success in this role
  • Enthusiastic about the latest advancements in technology, displaying a natural ability to swiftly grasp and adapt to new IT software products and critical business solutions
