About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Lead Business Growth Strategy Consultant to lead the Women's Segment within our Commercial Banking Division.

Commercial Banking provides local coverage and specialized industry expertise to companies in a wide variety of industries and subsectors and across multiple geographic locations, as well as government, institutional, and not-for-profit clients, with a portfolio of more than $200 billion in loans. CB's relationship-focused coverage businesses provide comprehensive financial services to companies with annual sales generally between $25 million and $2 billion, while its specialized and secured lending businesses deliver products to companies of all sizes.

The Diverse Segments team partner with the relationship-focused coverage businesses to understand the client needs, offer solutions, and raise awareness of CB's commitment to serving historically underserved diverse-owned and -led businesses.

The team also creates partnerships and insights that support their business growth and is responsible for supporting and growing commercial banking relationships with Black and African American, Hispanic, and Latino, Native American and Alaskan Native, Asian American and Pacific Islander, LGBTQ+, veteran, and women entrepreneurs across the U.S.

In this role, you will:

  • Manage the Women's Segment Strategy within Commercial Banking to develop or influence initiatives that promote and advance companywide finance growth opportunities.
  • Develop a holistic business approach for Women clients that delivers most useful financial products & services.
  • Create, implement, and execute strategic initiatives within this segment involving many stakeholders with diverse priorities and agendas. The main priority is to holistically service the Women's community.
  • Work cohesively with various senior leaders and team members to effectively engage and advocate for the Women's community internally and externally
  • Identify and purchase potential acquisition opportunities and loans in the secondary market for Women's segment customers and prospects.
  • Support various Business Growth Strategy projects focused on the Women segment to maximize growth opportunities and minimize expenses.
  • Provide vision, direction, and expertise within Commercial Banking to more experienced leadership on implementing innovative and significant business strategies that enhance companywide finance and growth for the Women segment.
  • Collaborate in close alignment with Marketing Segment Leader, Strategic Philanthropy, Corporate Communications and Corporate Responsibility and Community Relations teams to represent the Hispanic segment in the marketplace.

Required Qualifications, US:

  • 7+ years of Business Growth Strategy experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education.
  • 7+ years of account relationship management experience, credit management experience, or a combination of both

Desired Qualifications:

  • Superior familiarity with the Women's Segment and connected with this community and its leaders through previous work experience.
  • Self-starter with profound critical thinking, credit underwriting ability and marketing skills.
  • Superior ability to work with leaders and team members across lines of business to effectively support our overall strategy with our Women customers.
  • Experience analyzing segment data to develop regional and national strategies.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint) skills

Job Expectations:

  • Ability to travel up to 40% domestically.
  • Willingness to work on-site at stated WF location on the job opening.
