Responsibilities

  • Manage planning, research, writing, and strategy development for digital marketing, organizational initiatives, and emerging opportunities.
  • Lead work and projects from the conceptual phase to execution, ensuring quality work product of plans, and marketing content.
  • Develop project plans and track activities, timelines, writers, and quality reviews.
  • Manage traditional, digital, media and social media, content, and engagement.
  • Build a trusted advisor relationship with partners and internal teams.
  • Lead content creation by communicating ideas and working with integrated project teams.
  • Research and analyze industry and competitor trends and provide insights.
  • Help drive new business process, including research and proposal preparation, as well as organic growth.
  • Prioritize and delegate tasks as needed while modeling and encouraging company values.
  • Design and implement process improvement efforts.
  • Drive strategy and solution development from capture to delivery phases of new business.
  • Implement knowledge of external best practices and apply them internally.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated experience writing and disseminating digital marketing content on behalf of clients or organizations, including blog posts, industry articles, and social media content
  • Strong project management skills for complex projects
  • Demonstrated track record in building strong partner and organizational relationships and delivering marketing and growth plans that yield measurable outcomes
  • Proven track record in growing business and managing a pipeline of client opportunities
  • Expert practitioner in digital marketing skills areas and proposal planning, writing and presentations, media relations, and consultative selling

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Communications, Public Health, or related field
  • 4+ years of experience in organizational marketing, growth and/or strategic communications
  • Preferred: Experience in the federal health sector (e.g., HHS or its sub-agencies such as NIH, CDC, CMS, HRSA, ACF) or with health nonprofits; experience with federal networking groups such as ACT-IAC, PSC, AFCEA, or others
  • Suitability for Federal employment, as determined by a background investigation
