Sopra Steria is looking for a SharePoint
Platform Lead to join us in a unique opportunity to build and shape one of our
key accounts. This role requires knowledge and expertise of the SharePoint
platform (servers).

Your knowledge of the SharePoint
platform (servers) will be vital in the on-premises environment and
comprised of platform management and updating (patching), authentication
interface to IDAM (AD). Utilising WCMS, storage (OneDrive), document management
Team Site (MySite), Enterprise Search and Workflow features and capabilities of
SharePoint.

This is an office-based
role, 5 days per week in either our Bristol or Newcastle locations.

What you will be doing:

  • Direction and governance of the SharePoint platform and
    Service.
  • Provide expert support, analysis, research, and advice into
    complex problems.
  • Deliver technical expertise to all levels of Stakeholders.
  • Fulfil service level agreements.
  • Create, update, and maintain design and support documentation
    including HLD, LLD, Build Instructions and Operations Guides.
  • Monitoring the SharePoint solution.
  • Technical design for major changes to existing and new solution(s).

What you will bring:

  • SharePoint on premises (not
    internet connected) experience.
  • Experience input to design,
    building, administering, and supporting SharePoint 2016, 2019,
    Subscription Edition (on prem) deployments.
  • Information Management Policies and Records Management
    experience of configuring.
  • WCMS experience of configuration and guiding customers with
    content management.
  • PowerShell scripting
    knowledge.
  • HP Server Automation deployment knowledge.
  • Security architectural knowledge of building secure capabilities in an ISO 27001 certified environment.
