Location: This position can be either hybrid or remote for nationwide candidates

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Lead projects to improve the reliability, scalability, security, and performance of our ecommerce platform.
  • Build strong relationships with business stakeholders, infrastructure teams, vendors, and other IT teams.
  • Drive projects and improvement activities across our team.
  • Develop microservice cloud-based architecture that integrates across our entire technology suite, including web, ERP, and third-party systems.
  • Maintain, support, and upgrade existing infrastructure.
  • Introduce and suggest technologies or ideas that drive business needs in new and innovative ways.

Skills:

  • Proficiency in C# .NET 6/7
  • Experience with ASP.NET MVC 5
  • Strong knowledge of HTML5/CSS3/JavaScript/AJAX/Bootstrap
  • Familiarity with ReactJS/Redux
  • Proficiency in MySQL/Aurora/SQL (MS SQL Server)
  • Expertise in OOP/OOD and Service-oriented architecture, including applicable design patterns
  • Experience with Rest APIs/GraphQL/Swagger
  • Strong understanding of cloud-based system architecture and security

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 7+ years of experience or an equivalent combination of education and work experience
  • 7+ years of experience writing and developing sustainable/scalable applications in the .NET frameworks
  • Excellent knowledge of serverless development
  • 5+ years of experience working with enterprise-level applications and modern ecommerce platforms
  • 5+ years of experience in database management with SQL Server/MySQL, including writing complex queries, stored procedures, views, and indexes
  • Excellent knowledge of the agile development cycle, including CI/CD/DevOps
  • 5+ years of experience working with Rest APIs and microservices
  • Experience with AWS (Amazon Web Services), including Lambda, EC2, ECS, API Gateway, S3, AppSync, CloudWatch, or similar cloud providers
  • Salesforce integration experience is a plus
